Menu Concierge Complete FAQs Meet Our Team FAQs What is concierge medicine? Concierge medicine is a membership-based model of care whereby a patient pays an annual fee to be a member of the practice. By limiting the total number of patients and extended office visits, this model allows the concierge team to know the patient extremely well. Do I have to pay the annual fee all at once? Yes, the full annual membership fee is due when you sign a membership agreement with St. Elizabeth Physicians Concierge Complete. In many instances, if our team can save you one emergency visit due to our 24/7 access, the fee will have already paid for itself. Does my insurance or FSA/HSA cover the annual fee? The annual enrollment fee will remain completely separate from your insurance and cannot be applied to your insurance deductible. Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts only cover costs directly related to a qualified medical service that has been provided and cannot be used as payment of the annual fee. Do I still need insurance if I enroll with your practice? Yes. Concierge Complete practice does not take the place of general health insurance coverage. Our practice is a primary care medical practice, not a health insurance program. Do I still pay my copay, deductible or any other incurred charges outside of insurance? Yes. Your membership is a “value-added-service” fee and so you must still pay your copay, deductible and any other charges that your insurance does not cover. Patients are responsible for any fees associated with lab work, radiology or any other procedures performed at an outside facility. How do I become a member? Please call (859) 655-7040 to schedule an informational visit at your convenience. One of our personal navigators will work with you to arrange a time that is convenient for you. We encourage you to talk to our team and tour our office to see if Concierge Complete is right for you. How do I contact the doctor? Calls to the concierge office will be promptly answered by a member of the concierge team, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once you become a member, you will be given a private number to access your provider. What if I need to see a specialist? Our personal navigators will coordinate the scheduling of any appointments and/or screenings. If I become a member, do I still need a primary care physician? No, your concierge physician will serve as your primary care physician. In that role, they will assess and monitor your health, treat acute illnesses, manage chronic diseases and conditions, order tests, refer you to specialists as needed, and coordinate your overall health-care.
